Broitman, who takes on the new role of executive VP head of synchronisation for Warner/Chappell and Rhino, said the move is designed to make the licensing process easier.
“Addressing our clients’ synchronization needs in a single conversation not only makes the licensing process easier, but it means we can offer a wider choice of music, and foster deeper creative collaborations between recording artists, songwriters and clients,” he said.
Broitman will continue to report to Warner/Chappell chairman and CEO Cameron Strang, who said the move to combine resources under one roof will “help us set a new standard in licensing...The united operation will be faster-moving, better-connected and more innovative, resulting in an enhanced service and enabling us to generate even more significant opportunities for artists and songwriters.”
