The February 28 event promises to open with a keynote interview with Neophonic’s PJ Bloom, music supervisor on Glee. Bloom, who has produced soundtracks for over 50 films and hundreds of scores for TV, ads and games, will discuss how he chooses music syncs and the sort of music that is hot right now. That will be followed by a discussion on sync licensing, specifically exploring how to find a place for independent music in media.
Those already confirmed included Vamanos Music music supervisor Will Quiney, Tin Drum Music music supervisor Sophie Urquhart, Working Title Films music supervisor Nick Angel (Billy Elliot, Hot Fuzz, I Give It A Year) and Mute music and media manager David McGinnis. Bella Union’s Simon Raymonde will also participate in a listening session of ten tracks submitted by the audience. The event kicks off at 5.45pm at Deloitte LLP’s theatre, 2 New Street Square London EC4A 3BZ. Tickets are £24 (inc VAT) for AIM members, £60 (inc VAT) for non-members.
